Project Coordinator 


Sarah joined ATHA in May 2017. As Project Coordinator for ATHA, Sarah coordinates events and logistics, and offers research and program support across ATHA projects.  Shortly after joining ATHA, Sarah coordinated

an Expert Roundtable on Safe Zones which convened high level practitioners from around the world. She also supports ATHA’s workshops abroad, and has contributed research and editorial support for a case study on Myanmar, as well as for two podcasts on the cholera crisis in Yemen. She has held several positions incorporating both program coordination and research in higher education, including as the assistant to the bibliographer for Francophone studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and as an international relations coordinator in the International Relations Office of Aix-Marseille Université in Aix-en-Provence.  She also spent a year teaching English in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France. Sarah holds a Masters in French Studies with a concentration in International Education from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a BA in French and Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross. She is interested in how higher education can be used to promote international and intercultural learning across academic disciplines.
