Health in Humanitarian Crises

The course is very well organized but would like to propose that upon the completion of the course, attendees should be awarded a certificate of completion from ATHA. How can I earn my certificate?

The course was great. But it would have ben better if attendees are given certificate/could print their certificates after the completion of the course.

An excellent very brief view of the health needs of a population complex emergencies. 29 minutes. It would be helpful to point users to other more in depth courses such as the WHO's 'Infectious Diseases in Humanitarian Emergencies' course. A simple certificate of completion would also be helpful just for CPD purposes if nothing else.

I explore several online learning initiatives in order to identify those that I can recommend to young and older professionals or volunteers I work with.
This course is interesting in terms of how it describes a few elements that provide context to humanitarian interventions. This interesting course fails completely in empowering users not to accept the circumstances that create humanitarian crisis-situations in the first place, and in challenging the enormous waste that institutions add to such crisis by redundantly competing with each other for the limelight and for the resources.
Should we put our energy in improving the humanitarian aid system or in addressing root causes of human suffering. In educating young professionals we should recommend not to focus on one only.
